The Tom Clip was initially introduced for the Tomato industry, but has now been found to be as effective on cucumber, peppers and eggplant crops.

The clip is of metal wire and has a unique design that when applied with the aid of the Tom Tool, clinches onto the string and closes around the plants stem. This supports the plant to the string. The grip on the string can be adjusted so that the string is not cut. The tool itself has evolved since its original inseption back in 2012. It is now more ergonomic and much faster.

This is the quickest and most efficient way to attach your Irrigation Poly Tube to the wire in the vineyard or in your orchard. These are various size metal clips to suit most sizes of poly hose. The clips are glued together in strips of approximately 36 clips. They are loaded into the magazine of the clip applicator and then used to attach the Irrigation Tube to the wire.

As long as you are using the correct size clip, our galvanised metal clips will last the life of your poly suspension wire. They are applied firmly either side of the sprinkler so that the water is directed to the required area. They will not move on sloping ground and you will need very little to no re-application for years to come. Just apply them once and forget about it. Job done.

The RubberTie is a rubber band with a hook (head and collar) that wraps around the plant and the stake and hooks into itself to hold. No tools or special training is required for their use. They are available in various lengths to suit staking of plants at different stages of their growth period.

Our RubberTies are made in Spain from “Vulcanised” rubber. This means that the RubberTie has more elasticity and will hold firm. They have a larger head than most other brands so that they do not fall or blow off in windy conditions.

Being Uv-stable they will last up to 5 years and due to their elasticity, can be re-used in that time.
